Configuring Privacy Policy and Terms of Service Pages

I. Introduction

• Importance of Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages for compliance with online rules and policies.

II. Accessing the Website Template

1. Navigate to:

   • Sites and Form Builder

   • Websites

   • Select your cloned default website template.

III. Updating Privacy Policy Page

1. Edit the URL:

   • Click on the three dots next to the Privacy Policy page.

   • Select "Settings."

   • Remove extra numbers from the URL slug.

   • Click "Update Page."

2. Publish the Privacy Policy:

   • Click on the Privacy Policy page to open the website builder.

   • Click "Publish" (no edits needed).

   • Preview the page and copy the URL.

IV. Updating Terms of Service Page

1. Edit the URL:

   • Click on the three dots next to the Terms of Service page.

   • Select "Settings."

   • Remove extra numbers from the URL slug.

   • Click "Update Page."

2. Publish the Terms of Service:

   • Click on the Terms of Service page to open the website builder.

   • Click "Publish" (no edits needed).

   • Copy the Terms of Service URL.

V. Configuring Footer Links

1. Update the Terms of Service link:

   • Scroll to the footer of the page.

   • Highlight the Terms of Service text.

   • Click the link icon and paste the copied URL.

   • Click "Save" and then "Publish."

VI. Setting Custom Values for Privacy Policy

1. Exit the Website Builder:

   • Click the back button.

   • Navigate to the Settings tab.

2. Configure Custom Value:

   • Scroll down to "Custom Values" and click on it.

   • Click on the Privacy Policy custom value (likely blank).

   • Click "Edit Custom Value."

   • Paste the Privacy Policy URL and click "Update."

VII. Testing the Pages

1. Verify functionality:

   • Go to the Privacy Policy page and click the link to ensure it opens correctly.

   • Do the same for the Terms of Service page.
