How to Edit Buttons on Your Template: A Step-by-Step Guide
1. Accessing the Buttons
Click on each button on every page to update your site.
Ensure you click on the orange box around the button or directly on the button itself.
2. Updating Button Actions
Focus on where you want the button to direct users.
Options for button actions:
Call Option: Initiates a call to the specified phone number.
SMS Option: Sends a text message.
Go to Page: Selects a specific page within the site from a drop-down menu.
Website URL: Links to an external URL by pasting it into the designated window.
3. Additional Settings
Open in New Tab: Choose this option to open links in a new tab instead of the current one.
Pop-up Option: An advanced feature for previous versions of the template; not recommended for beginners.
4. Saving Changes
If other pages are not set up, it’s acceptable to leave buttons set to call or text.
After making changes, always hit Save and Publish to make updates live.
5. Final Considerations
Remember to update every button individually to ensure they perform the desired actions.
Different buttons can have different actions, so review each one carefully.
